> On July 8, 2026, Verbraeken Drilling Infra N.V. (»Infra Group«) signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Hieden & Kall Hoch- und Tiefbaugesellschaft m.b.H. (»Hieden & Kall«). Closing took place on July 9, 2026.
> Aquin acted as exclusive M&A advisor to the Hieden and Kall shareholder families.

Strategic Logic

> With Infra Group, the selling families have found a strategic and long-term-oriented partner to support the company’s continued growth and development while securing a sustainable succession solution. DI Hubert Kall will continue to lead the company as Managing Director. By reinvesting and becoming co-owners of Infra Group, the sellers will remain closely aligned with the future success of the business.
> The acquisition represents Infra Group’s market entry in Austria and adds a well-established infrastructure construction specialist to the group.
> Hieden & Kall will benefit from Infra Group’s broad multi-utility expertise and international network while continuing to serve its long-standing customer base in Styria and Carinthia.

> Hieden & Kall, founded in 1984 and with locations in Graz and Klagenfurt, is an established Austrian construction company with a focus on infrastructure projects, particularly energy networks, telecommunications and railway construction.
> The company has successfully completed more than 1,000 projects and serves a broad, long-standing customer base of public and private clients, with a strong regional focus on Styria and Carinthia.
> Hieden & Kall today employs approximately 200 people.

> Verbraeken Drilling Infra N.V. is part of Infra Group N.V., a European infrastructure group active across 12 competence areas, including telecommunications, electricity, water and sewerage, gas and liquids, earthworks, district heating and geothermal energy and rail infrastructure.
> The group provides integrated solutions for under- and above-ground infrastructure works, combining specialist companies, technology and operational capacity in a multi-utility approach.
