On July 8, 2026, Verbraeken Drilling Infra N.V., part of Infra Group N.V., signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Hieden & Kall Hoch- und Tiefbaugesellschaft m.b.H. from the Hieden and Kall shareholder families. Closing took place on July 9, 2026.

Hieden & Kall, founded in 1984 and with locations in Graz and Klagenfurt, is an established Austrian construction company specializing in infrastructure projects. The company is active in energy networks, telecommunications, cable and pipeline works, railway construction, and industrial and commercial construction. Since it was founded, Hieden & Kall has completed more than 1,000 projects and today employs approximately 200 people.

Infra Group, backed by PAI Partners, is a European infrastructure group with a multi-utility approach. The group is active in areas including telecommunications, electricity, water and sewerage, earthworks, district heating and geothermal energy, and rail infrastructure. It employs more than 5,000 people.
